Where are you based?
Uplift Creations is based in Poole, on the beautiful coast of Dorset. We cover the local and surrounding areas and are happy to travel if the booking meets the minimum order requirements and travel expenses are covered.
do you offer helium balloons?
unfortunately, we don't currently offer helium (floating balloons) as part of our service. there are several reasons for this;

1. helium is a non-renewable natural resource that is commonly used in the aerospace and health care industries. once this gas has been released into the atmosphere, the particles are so light that they eventually drift off into space, never to be retrieved.
​
2. helium prices have recently soared and continue to rise as it is becoming more and more scarce. this makes the classic helium numbers less appealing and air filled designs become much more affordable.
what balloons do you use?
we only use the best quality, branded balloons available on the market, no matter how big or small your display! we source all of our balloons from trusted suppliers and its for these reasons that we can guarantee the quality finish and longevity of your balloon displays.

WHY ARE YOU USING SO MUCH PLASTIC?
BALLOONS ARE NOT PLASTIC. ALL BALLOONS ARE MADE FROM NATURAL LATEX WHICH IS 100% BIO-DEGRADABLE. THE ONLY EXCEPTION TO THIS IS MYLAR (FOIL) BALLOONS WHICH WE MAY OCCASIONALLY USE AS ACCENT BALLONS. WE ADVISE THAT THESE ARE EITHER DISPOSED OF RESPONSIBLY OR RE-USED.

BALLOONS are all made from natural rubber latex which is collected from the Hevea Brasiliensis Para rubber trees that are grown in certain areas of the tropics and are fully sustainable.
How do i book?
the only way to book is through the enquiry form located under the how to book page. please provide as much information as you possibly can when enquiring as this will help us to supply you with a quote much quicker. if we have any queries about your enquiry we will contact you to discuss in more detail. we recommend that you enquire as early as possible to avoid disappointment as availability is limited.
dO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
YES, WE ASK FOR A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT FOR ALL BOOKINGS WITH THE REMAINING BALANCE DUE 7 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR BOOKING DATE. iN THE INSTANCE THAT UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES OCCUR WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO TRANSFER THIS BOOKING FEE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE YOU TO SET UP?
SET UP TIMES VARY FROM ONE DISPLAY TO ANOTHER, IF YOUR EVENT IS BEING HELD AT A VENUE, WE ASK THAT YOU FIND OUT HOW LONG WE WILL HAVE TO SET UP AND INCLUDE THIS INFORMATION IN YOUR ENQUIRY. WE WILL ALSO NEED TO KNOW WHAT TIMES ANY PROPS NEED TO BE COLLECTED BY.
HOW LONG do the balloons lasT?
collection balloons or garlands will last at best around 7 days inside and 1-2 days outdoors. Our balloons almost always outlive these lifespans but we can't guarantee it. In order to extend the life of your balloons, ensure that you keep them away from heat sources and direct sunlight. please don't let children play with the balloons as they can be a choking hazard.

when hiring a display using one of our props, we will ask you if you would like to keep or dispose of the balloons when we return to collect, we can remove them carefully for you to re-use.
